1001 Most Useful Spanish Words (Beginners' Guides)

A limited vocabulary is a real challenge for beginning speakers and this is helpful for a beginner's encouragement.

This little book has been helpful in my spanish class with looking up words that are not in my text book and I thought it was a great price as well.

I found it helpful in learning some spanish. It is light enough to carry with me so that I can carry it with me where ever I go.

Just as good as Easy Spanish Phrase Book by Dover, 1001 Most Useful Spanish Words is an inexpensive gem of information on the Spanish language. It's actually better than a dictionary because it only gives you one useful word at a time (that way you don't have to choose like with a regular dictionary) and you get to see the word used in a sentence in context.
Still, you can't beat learning to create your own words and sentences, not just those that someone made for you in advance.
For that reason, I am sold on Behind the Wheel Spanish 8 CDs and Book.
