A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose (Oprah's Book Club, Selection 61)

Some reviewers have found this book to be a rehash of some long standing beliefs. In metaphysics there are Infinite ways to say the same thing. So in that context nothing is old nor is it new.

Eckhart is to me simply exploring the human dynamic/experience in ways that for the most part are often over looked and/or considered in this kind of detail.

I have a close friend who is very stressed by her job. I've been exploring with her that due to her ego investment in her work she has become defined by it. Such a definition almost always invites stress. What the book invites one to consider I felt is very appropriate to her situation so I am having it sent to her today.

Like all Masters some will hear his message and others will not. Thanks to his teachings about the Now and how most are still not present due to all their mind/ego chatter going on, to me he is contributing to what some call the collective Awakening or transitioning.

Spiritual teachers could easily be thought of as reminders. The help us get back in touch with what we already know.

Those that feel the need to judge something or someone are playing the game of making the myth of separation real. To them I would say EnLighten Up!

I never received this book. Money was taken out of my account and the book never came. I contacted the vendor and never received a reply. Very disappointed!!! I always buy from amazon.com and couldn't believe that this situation could possibly happen.

Ignore everyone else and read it...

You learn something from every book you read... why not move past the critics and judge the book for yourself. Regardless of your religon or beliefs, the book will open your eyes to another aspect of life that you may not have considered.

Book was delivered very quickly in brand new condition and is excellent. Highly recommended reading and will definately recommend this vendor.

The book is excellent. It really helped in trying to let go of my ego.
