LOVE MODE Volume 8: (Yaoi) (v. 8)
|
Customer ReviewsThis deeply emotional and moving Yaoi series continues to fascinate!I have to admit I waited until Vol 9 was released before I started reading this story arc on Kiichi's and Haruomi's past which covers volume 8 & 9. Love it Who would have thought the Aoe brothers come from such a dysfunctional family headed by a brute of a father who uses them only for his own ends. Who would have thought behind Kiichi's cheerful face is a tragic past which nearly consumed the good doctor. Vol 8 is just as much the stoic and faithful Haruomi's tragic story as it is Kiichi's. Reiji features briefly in this volume and we get to understand how close these 2 brothers are. A deeply emotional plot, certain parts disturbing in its bleakness. A terrific Volume 8 which ends on a cliff hanger. As for the short one shot at the end, it is just so sweet and cute. It is a great volume, just like the ones before, it has funny part, like drama parts, really good The past is being revealed!!! Love Mode 8 primarily deals with Kiichi and Haruomi's past with Reiji making a few appearances. The story deals with how Haruomi became Haruomi and was adopted by the Kashima family. Basically he sells himself to Aoe Shogo to save his injured brother. This volume ends with a VERY big cliffhanger for Kiichi and Haruomi. I recommend getting this volume if you have been wanting to find out their past stories. The second side story is a fantasy about Reiji/Naoya and Takamiya/Izumi. 3 reviews found. Displaying 1-3.
