This is an excellent reference book for anyone with minimal training, especially in situations where it may be more than the usual

This is the book I carry on long expeditions. I carry a little tiny book by Tilton on short trips, but on longer trips I like this book because it covers just about everything I know how to manage (I'm a WFR and I'm the local SAR Commander.)

This book is an outstanding reference for back-country situations EMS, Rangers, Leaders, guides or other trained personnel might find themselves in. Great book, highly recommended.
