And the hits keep coming........ 5.0 stars
What a great story. My heart went out for Sebastian. He was so alone for so long, finally he found his mate. Yes, Kaderin was annoying in the beginning, but once her "feelings" kicked in, she became likable. All-in-all, this book is a keeper.
Loved the Book 5.0 stars
If you like paranormal romance with great humor I think you should give Kresley Cole's Immortal After Dark Series a chance. Her creative twist on werewolves, vampires, valkyrie, demons, and witches is imaginative and highly entertaining. Take a look inside her book and see if you agree. To see what sort of reading perspective I come from, I love the following paranormal romance authors: Christine Feehan, Larissa Ione (Sydney Croft), J.R. Ward, Robin D. Owen, Lora Leigh, Alexis Morgan, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Susan Sizemore, Lara Adrian, and Lynn Viehl.
Whiney vampires????? 2.0 stars
Liked the heroine, strong willed and ready for action at all times. On the other hand, the vampire hero is quite whiney, lost and weak. I started the series with this book and then found out there is a previous installment. Recommendation - start with the first book for sure. All in all, the series is great, but don't judge only based on this book.
5 Stars - Great Plot, Great Characters 5.0 stars
Ms. Cole, again, did a great job in character development in No Rest for the Wicked, and the Tailsman's Hie did not disappoint at all.

While the Kaderin and Sebastian did hit it off a little too early in the story for my taste, the actual "falling in love" part of the story was very well written.

Character-wise, although Kaderin is a very strong-minded female, her stubbornest never went beyond reason. As much as I would constantly wish she could fall for Sebastian a little earlier, because he is such a gentle and loveable guy, her holding back never got to a point when I got annoyed with her doing so. I also love Sebastian a lot, because he is such a great character, although he does have some issue with his brothers.

The whole Talisman's Hie was very intense, and it tied very well with the development of the two's relationship. Basically, it's another book I couldn't put down until the very last page.

As much as I like Book 1, A Hunger Like No Other, of the seris a little more, Book 2 of the Immortals After Dark Series is definately a wonderful read and will not disappoint.
At last a heroine that isn't silly and pathetic 5.0 stars
After reading the first book in this series "A Hunger Like No Other", I started this one. I liked the first book a lot but found that it seemed to lose some momentum - this one didn't!

Such a reprieve to find a strong heroine that doesn't constantly do ridiculously silly things and rely on the hero to get her out of her fixes.

I really enjoy the way Kresley Cole writes dialogue and thoughts as well, believable, witty and funny. It's a nice change to read a romance that doesn't constantly repeat words and/or phrases over and over again until you want to scream if you read it one more time.

I'll definately be reading more of this series!
