The Bipolar Disorder Survival Guide: What You and Your Family Need to Know
|
Customer ReviewsGood Basic Information and...... and I'd also go with Sarah Shikitao-Brown's book for a very good practical solution to emotional management issues like these. Hard to say but maybe the best of class Tao Cycle Therapy: Natural Happiness via Self Directed Cure for Chronic Anxiety & Depression [Updated 2008 3nd Edition] I've read about seven of these Bipolar books so far, (Don't look at me like that, it's part of my job). I'd say this one might be the best of the bipolar books so far. But as always I also need to recommend that you also read Tao Cycle Therapy, by Sarah Shikitao-Brown when your finished and are ready for a practical solution. -Jane Stevens Very Helpful for Families Tao Cycle Therapy: Natural Happiness via Self Directed Cure for Chronic Anxiety & Depression [Updated 2008 3nd Edition] I gave this book as a gift to a good friend with bipolar disorder. Her comment to me was "I wish I had this when I was first diagnosed (about 15 years ago)!" She has passed it along to another family whose son was recently diagnosed. Says this is an excellent and easy-to-understand resource for families and was most grateful for the gift. Very Helpful for Friends and Family as well as victims of Manic Depression This book proved to be easy to read and informative. I would recommend it for anyone who is, or thinks they might be, bipolar. Also, it is good to read if you for sure think you are NOT bipolar, but others think you are. It will help you gain some perspective. This is also a helpful book for family and close friends of those who suffer from manic depression. Books This was an awesome book excellent reading and easy to understand.I never understood bipoler disorder as well until i read this book. I really reccomend thi to anyone who is trying to understand themselves or a family member. 63 reviews found.
