iPhone: The Missing Manual: Covers the iPhone 3G (Missing Manual)

I thought this book was very easy to follow, and well organized. This book is exactly what it says it is, a user manual for the iPhone. It covers all the basic functionality, and includes a few tips and tricks that you might not know about otherwise.

For the most part, I find the iPhone very easy to use, and wonder why anyone would need directions on how to do some of the things this book covers. However, if you would like to discover how to really use your iPhone, or just want a more complete guide to all the features this book will be useful.

If you are a technical person, and would like to dive deeper into the workings of the phone (perhaps start developing applications, or learn about some of the more complex features), this book will be too simplistic for your needs.

This is better than anything that apple could or would put together. Very informative and well written. Excellent tips with interesting asides on the iPhone and Apple as a whole. A must have for any iPhone user!!!

I like this book. some info were missing like how to download mp3 songs to my Iphone.after all it is a verygood book to be familiar with the second generation of Iphone

Both my husband and I rely on a hard copy to accompany a new tech item. The iPhone became more user friendly and fun after delving into chapter after chapter of the Missing Manual.

This is indeed "The Missing Manual". I was lost without it....I need a book to learn things, the PDF that is the manual for the Iphone 3G just did not do it for me. With this book I was able to figure out what was what and now I love my Iphone.
